Instagram makes it hard for YouTube Creators to direct traffic from Instagram to YouTube. With the advent of the Instagram browser, clicking on a YouTube link opens that link up in the Instagram browser rather than the YouTube app. This means that a viewer has to log in to their YouTube account from within the Instagram app in order to subscribe, like, or comment on your YouTube video.
In this mini-course, I teach you how to create a redirect action that kicks the user out of the Instagram built-in browser and launches the YouTube app on their phone or tablet taking them directly to your YouTube channel or video of choice. Because they are now in the YouTube app, they don't have to log in again to subscribe to your channel.
As a bonus, you get better user tracking because the redirect happens through a location you can control.
This mini-course is free because I believe in giving. As Instagrammers and YouTubers who are constantly fighting the system, we need to support each other.
I hope that this course is useful to you and that you feel the need to share it with others, create content pointing to it, make a YouTube video discussing how it helped you, or simply just tell your Mom about it.
Hi all, I am a website designer and photographer who has been working for himself since graduating high school. I taught myself website design and development so I could start my own business. In 2005 I taught myself photography and started a photography business as a professional wedding photographer. Since then, I have helped hundreds of companies and organizations market their products and services online. As a photographer, I continue to capture photos and produce video for weddings, events, conferences and more.
I teach because I was taught by so many through blog posts, articles and online videos. Teaching allows me to give back and teach others the way I would have liked to be taught. Many of my courses are free because I believe in giving back.
I am a husband and father with three amazing kids. You can learn more about me at my website. I hope to see you in one of my courses. Thanks so much!
